The soundproofing leaves much to be desired. noise from the street and other guests can be quite intrusive, making restful sleep a challenge during busier times.

my stay was delightful with easy access to Piazza della Signoria and the stunning Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, both just around a 15-minute stroll away, which made my weekend city exploration truly enjoyable.

Basic accommodations kept neat and clean, with an excellent shower in the bathroom. The breakfast spread included a solid variety of offerings like cereals, cold meats, and fresh fruit, enough to fuel you for the day ahead.

Rooms lack adequate shelving or seating, making it difficult to store your belongings. The absence of nightstands and electrical plugs near the additional bed is inconvenient. Noise travels easily through the thin walls, disrupting sleep as you can hear everything from the street and other rooms.

Hotel Rita Major exceeded my expectations with its warm hospitality. The staff were always friendly and very helpful. I particularly appreciated the lovely outdoor garden, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

I stayed for 3 nights in the Economy Triple Room. Initial impressions were great. The room was spotless, and the shower had excellent water pressure. A young gentleman at the front desk provided me with a city map and outlined how to reach some famous spots which was quite helpful. Breakfast featured simple yet delicious options, with fresh pastries and good coffee that kickstarted my mornings nicely. The hotel is family-owned, and it shows in the warm hospitality. However, noise from the street could be disruptive, especially at night. The lack of noise insulation made it hard to sleep at times. Wi-Fi was reliable, and the 24-hour reception felt secure. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to improve the soundproofing in the rooms. I highly recommend it for those seeking a cozy and welcoming environment, although be prepared for some street noise.

I was blown away by the stunning art in the hotel and the comfy, fresh renovations in my room. They had a lovely patio for sipping drinks and a chill TV room to relax in after a day of exploring. The shower was a bit tricky to adjust, but overall, it didn't diminish my fantastic stay! 👍

It was just a nice choice for a city break in Florence with fantastic value. The hot shower was powerful and refreshing after a long day. Plan on walking a lot since the cobblestone streets can be tough on your feet.

The Comfort Double Room was super spacious and led out to a nice communal garden, which was awesome for relaxing with pizza and wine after a long day. I loved how clean it was and how bright the room felt. The bed was comfy too, perfect for unwinding after exploring Florence.

Just a perfect match for a couple of nights in Florence with very good value for money. The owner and his grandson were super friendly and made us feel at home. Bring your own shampoo since the provided ones are just packets.

The outdoor space was a gem, we could sit under the lemon trees and have a glass of wine after a long day. Staff was incredibly friendly, especially Jenny who went out of her way to give us tips about local spots that weren't swarmed by tourists.

Jenny from the staff was especially helpful, providing great local tips, and the outdoor space was perfect for enjoying drinks. Breakfast was a delightful spread of hot drinks, juices, and fresh pastries, which kept us energized each morning. The location is superb, just a 15-minute walk from Firenze Campo di Marte train station. Highly recommend!
